Agreed. A few weapons switches and you have a pretty cool mod!

I have thought about that but there would be no good way to actually hook them up to anything without running wires down your shift rod. and then leaving enough slack under the console to still shift. the wires would more than likely wear out prematurely and cause problems.

Forget hooking them up then, just use the awesome flight controls "as is". I bet all of the guys doing "stormtrooper" builds would have a hard-on for a product like this, even if they don't actually do anything.

If you build it, they will come.

I have a 6 speed with a cue ball shift knob. I'd like to invent a ball-type knob that gets cool to the touch when you put your hand on it or start your truck. Down here in NC, those knobs get kind of hot...

This might be childish, but rigging a small speaker so there are gun sounds when you press the button would make me giggle quite a bit stuck in traffic.

I would think an interesting switch would be one that engages a locker, (ARB or E-locker) if one is installed on the truck.

Wiring would be a huge obstacle, but there's gotta be an electronics guru who could fab a simple remote setup with a receiver/relay to control fogs, bed lights, actual 30mm Gatling gun, etc.
