FANTASTIC! It's like landing on pillows. I have never felt the rear of the truck bottom and bounce again!

Since this write up I bought and installed an All Pro U bolt flip kit which has given the bumps an increased surface to land on. I have NEVER been happier with a suspension setup then this one. Absolutely thrilled and happy that it rides so nice both on and off road!

Any idea of the compressed length of these?

Edit I'm dumb. Riding the mental short bus today...

I was referring to the gm bumps. But you just need to set them with shims to where you want the leaf pack to stop. Been contemplating super bumps in the rear since i just blew up both of my rear shocks with the all pro standard pack (5100's). Obviously i need to measure, but these are an awesome alternate to the super bumps. Thanks

The bump stop is 4" tall, adding a stack of fender washers you can total up to an ADDITIONAL .5" to make the overall bump stop 4.5" tall. Be advised though that only 3" of the bump stop is actually usable because the other 1" is wasted with the housing which encases the bump stop.

So essentially you are "wasting" 1.5" for height purposes only.

Adding a All Pro U-bolt flip kit will give you another .25" because the mounting plate is that thick.

Once and if you add the flip kit you will have a total of 1.75" additional bump stop height.

    Bump for updated pictures.

Maybe I should make a build thread with this many pics I have taken of my unintentional "build."

Revive. Gonna go this route, thanks for the suggestion. However, where do you find the bump stops from GM for $30?? Cheapest I found is $54 for a pair online. Granted a few years later but almost 50% increase? What gives?

This was my inspiration to use these bump stops from a Silverado(wheelers super bumps in the front). I used Icon strike plates for their air bump kit as a landing surface. Rides amazing and cost around $75 in parts.

While in there I made a 3/4" spacer for the brake line bracket. They were getting pretty tight under full droop.
Now no more worries about stretching the brake lines or bottoming out my shocks. thanks for the great idea OP!

That bump is tall enough to prevent your shocks bottoming out? Did you add the stack of washers the OP recommended? With my 8" stroke shocks and dakar leafs the calculations found required a 3 3/4" tall bump at compression....

Yeah, my shocks are 10" stroke and I have a Dakar pack out of which I removed the middle leaf and the top overload. The bump stop has to compress 2.5 to 3" before the shock could bottom out and it feels progressive meaning that the more it gets compressed the harder it gets. But it's smooth at first I can compress it 0.5" by hand

And no I didn't add that many washers, just two on each side. I measured and found I didn't need so many

Depends on your suspension setup. Just measure and make sure the bump compresses before your shock bottoms out. These are really nice I can't even feel the bottoming out anymore and I've caught some air here and there

Yours is mounted up on the frame right? Did you add spacers at all
