I've searched and couldn't find anything on this. I bought a used Snugtop camper shell for my 2009 Tacoma. The snugtop has 3 wires hanging down the left side near the top of the tail gate. It looks like it was connected before because there are connections on the end of the wires. 2 of the wires are just single wires and the third is 2 wires connected together with one connector. My question is, how the hell do I wire this into my brakelight and how do I get the domelight inside of the camper wired? Any help would be appreciated. I can go take pictures of it if that would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Here are some pictures of the wiring for reference.

I purchased a new snug top for my tacoma. The wiring hookup was included in the purchase. Can't help with the actual wiring but the dome light was connected directly to the battery. This way the dome light always has a power source.

well looking at that picture I'm going to assume that the black&white wires are ground, and one of the red wires goes to the dome light, and the other one goes to the 3rd brake light.

I'd double check that the black&white wires goes to ground with a multimeter, then you can get a 9V battery and hook it up and see which light comes on.

Then for the 3rd brake light you need to pull your tail light out and figure out which bulb comes on with the brakes applied, and tap into that wire and connect to 3rd brake light. Then run a wire from your battery to the dome light. You should add a 5A fuse to all the connections you make.
