Finished 60k service and found driver side rear shock leaking. Only done the weekend dirt haul on occasion. Definitely sounds too early to me. But is what it is.
I like the stock ride (have SR5 4x2 and don't off-road) and would like something comparable but obviously last longer than the OE brand without OE prices.

    Thanks.

If remember correctly if you buy oe shocks as replacments they come with a life time warranty on the part only, but it doesn't apply to the oe bilstien

To clarify, the stock OE shocks have no warranty past the factory warranty, correct?
Yet, another set or new set of OE has a lifetime warranty?

Pugga, thanks for suggestion. Put new HD's on today. $130 for two at shockwarehouse.com Stiff getting them on. I need floor jack to do a little manipulating. FYI, if anyone ever breaks off the top tip that stops the piston from spinning as you loosen, take a razor and cut the top boot off, then hold with vice grips or similar wrench, then loosen nut. OE shocks on my SR5 did not have a hex insert but you can use an adjustable to hold the top from spinning(if you don't break). Grommets on new shocks were wide making lining up difficult, used a little silicone spray and slid in nice. Took for a spin, noticeably stiffer truck feel from OE set and rides nice. Still can't believe slight leak at 60k. Oh well. Thanks again.

Shocks typically won't be covered under warranty since they are considered a wear item. Dealers might replace them under warranty if they blow out say in 5k miles because there was obviously a defect (you'd still have to argue that I would guess). Some shocks might have a warranty through the manufacturer but Toyota wouldn't warranty a set of shocks.

Hopefully those HDs work out for you. People on here seem to like them. My shocks didn't have the hex insert either, you were supposed to use a crescent wrench on the top nub to hold the shock from spinning. I ended up cutting mine off because they were corroded on and I was getting impatient dealing with the crescent wrench.
