There's a few snowmobile threads around here. I know several members load them in the bed of their trucks

long bed or shortbed? I have a shortbed and my skidoo tundra is all I wanted to put in the back. hung over tailgate quite a bit. not sure of the length of sled but its shorter than a summit 163

My 136 hangs over the tailgate by about a foot and a half. A 163 is gonna hang out about 3 feet.

I have a wood sled deck that I use in the back of mine with a 144" Summit. Works fine. Hangs out a bunch but you have to remember that most of the weight is toward the front of the sled. I'm putting rail extensions and a 154" track on this winter, but I don't foresee any problems. I have a 6' bed...

I put a RMK 800 144 in mine, hung out the back a lot and had to build a platform to raise the skis a bit.
