So i installed the OME suspension kit on my 07 tacoma on monday. When i put the coilovers on the struts i noticed that the "dirt guard" floated around on the shaft of the strut. So i took it back apart and decided to stack a couple of 1/2" rubber bushings from the old struts on the shaft so that it wouldn't rattle and drive me crazy. Is this going to effect the travel distance of the shock? Should i just let the "dirt guard" float?

If anything it would tear the rubber bushing before it hurt the OME setup, it's built pretty stout.

Well i also put the metal retainer/washers in there too to hold the bushings together.
