trying to pick up a set of OME 885 coils without a spacer, toytec says you have to run longer struts, will a set of 4600's count or handle the lifted travel, i have a 2010 Prerunner SR5 but no TRD package. I'm not going to lift until i get the AAL for the back but would love to not have to spend 200 more on struts & shocks, i found a pair of 4600's local for less than 80 and 26,000 miles so i'd like to get those

The 4600s are the OEM shocks I think, and they are cheaper than $80 brand new. You are better off going with OME shocks or 5100s.

the TRD's came with non-adj. 5100's didnt they? mine are defintly not yellow & blue, all black.

havent looked at a spindle lift, i thought i was doing good to not buy a tough country spacer lift

with no top spacer i shouldnt even get 3" of lift either, should be 2.25 to 2.75so if a spacer kit doesn't require it why does the 885's?

3" lift EIBACH coils w/ 5100's front, OME/ Dakar leaf springs w/ toytec adjustable shackles at 1.5" and 5125's out back. 33x10.5x15 KM2's Relentless DIY steel bumper.
since you have a prerunner you can do a spindle lift and keep the factory ride. or go the bilstein and ome coil route. yes you are doing well by staying away from spacer lifts! the 4600's will not work with aftermarket lift coil springs

Some bilsteins, OME 885's, and an AAL.
huh???? That's a terribly worded question.

are you asking why you do/do not need a top plate spacer?
