Are they stopping the Tacoma for 2014?

    Black Sand Pearl factory paint - flattened "au natural" by tree branches.
    I heard they were selling out to dodge and dodge was going to outsource all their parts manufacturing to a company called Fu Li Autoparts in Taiwan. A reliable source at the dealership also told me they were gonna phase out the tacoma and make a unibody 4x4 crossover that's a cross between the tacoma and the camry :D

    I'm pretty sure I read something released from Toyota from Japan that they are making at least a 2015. It's gonna have better fuel economy to meet up with the laws.

    Okay, do you guys ever read anything but TW? Toyota has indicated no plans to discontinue the Tacoma. Its not unusual for manufacturers to not make a big thing about a vehicle that doesn't undergo significant change. According to Truck Trends, Toyota will be dropping the regular cab for 2015.

    In the month of June 2013:

    Toyota sold 13,882 Tacomas.
    Nissan sold 5,615 Frontiers.

    Safe bet they're keeping the Tacoma around. The only trucks outselling it are the F150, Ram and Silverado/Sierra.
