How do you remove emblems?

i would like to remove the emblems to paint them .. what is the best way to do this thanks guys..

 

Fishin line and a blow dryer...do a search there is a good thread on this^

 

Hair dryer, but don't get too close to paint or for too long, get the adhesive warm, take fishing line and saw behind the emblem until you get it off. Takes about ten minutes.

best way to trim off the black on platic dipped embles?
i dipped them but i cant get off some of the trims it keeps peeling it off the letters as well

Spray them with WD-40, let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe off with a paper towel.

i dont wanna remove the whole platic dip on the emblem jus on the side of them

 

On the side of them?

 

Use a toothpick to cut the part on the letters away from the part on the paint while your peeling

I plastidipped mine on the truck and removed the ones i did not want with dental floss and goo gone. Then wash with soap and apply new wax to the area

 

fishing line and then some Goo Gone will remove adhesive
