    This ?

I had a Hilux LongRanger 140L tank shipped to me in Canada for my '07 Tacoma not long ago. When I went to install the tank I found that there are some minor differences in the mounting of the tank since the Hilux frame is different than the Tacoma. Unfortunately I didn't have time to fuss with it much and had to get the truck back on the road that day so I put the stock tank back in. The truck is my wife's daily driver so I can't have it off the road for long. A further wrench in the gears is that my work is moving me to another province in the very near future so I'm not going to be able to finish this project for a few months. From what I could see with the tank raised into position only a few minor modifications to the mounts will be necessary. Don't quote me on that though as it's not in there yet. I'll be sure to update you all on what exactly it took to get this thing in when it happens.

    Too many to list now.
They have them, but not through that company IIRC. I looked into it a few months ago, trying to remember the details. Called a company in Cali that was importing aussie parts for our trucks, they did have the fuel tank available at that time. I'll try and find out who it was again. Other option is in that thread on expo portal, in bend oregon I believe.

    Got a reply today

    G'Day Peter,

The second shipment of LRA tanks for the 2nd gen Tacoma are on their way from Australia with an expected arrival date in about 30 days. They are on a first come first serve basis for preordering. Here are the pricing details again.

    LRA-TTACDCR - Main replacement tank Tacoma $1,340.00

The kit comes with everything needed and uses the OEM fuel pump and sending unit.

Its a shame the tank is so damn expensive. A nice increase of 50% or so in fuel capacity. If you can get 20 mpg thats 660 miles. Other day when I gassed up the local store price was $3.33 gal. That's about $110 for a complete fill. Prices will go up again eventually though. Worst case scenario? $4 a gal. So $132 for a complete fill. Just some random number crunching on my part.

That's the same guy that posted the original one that I provided the link to in my OP

I would love to get this tank. Just don't know if its worth it to bother for the 1200 bucks

I think 1200 is pretty reasonable actually. I always just assume that any mod costs a grand.
