    Anybody have one? I'm thinking it's the one for me but am not sure... how does it weigh so little?!

    From the name it's probably made from aluminum and I've not heard a lot about them

    Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
    It's aluminum. Aluminum works out to weighing about 40% less than its steel equivalent. That's not hard-and-fast, there are variations, but it's a generally decent working #.

    As for reviews, there are a few on here, but it seems they do lots of their business with owners of full size trucks and vans. The FSV/Sportsmobile folks swear by them, and those folks are usually running (and using) 12,000 lb. winches. That's enough for me.


    As for the price - when you look at steel bumpers you have to remember that steel is somewhat less expensive than aluminum, a little easier to work with, and some of the steel bumpers, when you add up all the 'extras', i.e. like being charged for powdercoating, light cutouts, brush bars, etc. get nearly as expensive.
