The same shit everyone else has.
I recently purchased some Bilstein 5100s for my TRD Off Road Tacoma.

Ideally, I plan on setting them to raise the front 2". I would like to lift the rear about 1.5" so the truck sits level (but I'm not against going 2" all around).

All my research keeps taking me back to the Toytec long add-a-leafs.

Toytec sells 1.5" AALs for the TSB springs, but claims they will work with non TSB springs - http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/...ings_p_16.html

My question is will the AAL still raise the truck the same 1.5" even though it doesnt have the TSB springs on it.

Or would I be better off gettings the 2" AALs made for non TSB springs?

I have the 2" AAL from toytec on my nonTSB 05 trd OR. It raised it exactly 2" measured from center of hub to wheel well. If i were you, i would go with the progressive 3 leaf AAL.

    Thanks for the input.

Does the single AAL ride that bad? How much worse than the stock non TSB springs?

I don't have much experience with lifting truck as I've been into lowered VWs for the last decade.

    Thanks

Can you guys give some input as to why you suggest the progressive spring packs vs a single AAL?

Better ride, more load capacity and a real plus for those of us who have not had the TSB upgrade.

    Back from the dead.

I plan on ordering the AAL asap now that the fronts are done. I'm going to go with the 3 leave progressive add a leaf.

I just need to figure out where to order it from.

Wheelers HD kit is not cheap but seems to be a quality product!

I just got my AAL from Toytec for about 80 bucks. Very helpful and knowledgeable sales staff.

I was asking the similar question a few months back and every one told me to go with the Wheelers 3 leaf progressive AAL. I think it's around $150 for it. I could be wrong. I was cheap and went with a 2" block at the time but intend to get that wheelers AAL.

If I get the wheelers 3 leaf progressive what would be the best way to level the front?

Thanks. I've been looking at the Wheeler's stuff. I just hate that they don't have shipping prices listed. I emailed them and Im awaiting a response.

As for bringing the fronts up. I used the Bilstein 5100s and love em.

So does the single tsb 1.5 aal stiffen the ride alot or just a little? How much does the aal settle because I don't want any reverse rake.

Also do tacos with the stock tsb sprigs have more rake than the 3 leaf?
