If you can't weigh it down, climb under there and scuff em up a little. They just shouldn't look brand new.

FWIW, I hit the bump stops on small bumps with 2 two-stroke dirt bikes in the back of my truck. With gear, that's about 500#. And I HAVE the TSB springs.

I think you should drive the truck as you usually do and load it as you normally load it. It may be a harsh ride the first time you haul a decent load. If it is, go through the steps to TRY to have the TSB completed.

If it isn't a harsh ride, don't worry about it. You're under warranty for 3 years and can always try to get it done. Also, it will be less stressful if/when they add 09 to the TSB. If it doesn't bother you now, wait it out.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I have not had any issues as of yet with the three leaf pack on my '09. The most weight I have hauled at this point has been a yard of bark and I had no issues whatsoever. The back end hardly dropped in fact.
