Mods for best possible road trip?

    Hello all!

    My recently purchased taco just turned over to 146,000 miles and I am looking to put some money into her to get her back into great shape. I just ordered some Bilstein 5100s to replace the stock shocks. (I would have loved some Icons, but I would have not used them to their potential.)

    the route I want to take for the truck is to have it dependable, comfortable, and capable. I won't be lifting it right away because I would rather put money into making it dependable and comfortable first. I will be getting a tonneau, UltraGauge, bluetooth/ MP3 module and my Bilsteins soon, but what other mods can I get to make the truck comfortable and capable on long road trips?

    I am getting some seafoam tonight to throw in the tank, but I am looking for things I am not thinking about, but will want down the road.

    a cordless drill can come in very handy and speed things up tremendously when changing a flat on the side of the road. trust me, it was worth its weight in gold when i had to use it on our last family vacation 800 miles from home.

    Window tint is really nice on a long trip, both for comfort and to keep people from seeing all your stuff. Some way to connect your iPhone etc to the stereo. A small electric cooler.

    I have an MSR pocket rocket in my car at all times, just in case. Good thinking on stopping and having a hot lunch though.

    The problem is, I don't want to drop a bunch of money on more suspension parts when I'm not sure the truck will last as long as the springs. I might order some springs and leafs now that you mention it though.
