Question about dealer's records as opposed to Toyota.com/service

So, I tried searching for this problem, but I couldn't find an answer. I took my "new to me" truck in for a toyota used car inspection before I bought it and the mechanic had a long list of records for the truck. He had that the dealer had repaired a few things etc... He had about two pages full of info he showed me and I didn't pay too much attention to it because I assumed it was the same information on the Toyota.com/service website. Well I am looking to see when the last big service was and I look on the toyota website and it isn't very detailed at all. Is there a record that the dealer has access to that we don't? or am I just missing something?
