Hey guys, sorry I dont not have time right now to search and go through posts.
just installed 3 in front lift from toytec , and LR uca's , getting ready to get method 16x8 4.5bs +0 offset w/285/75/16 AT/31s. Anyone have any very clear pix of the front of the tire where you had to trim?
Best tool for them trim as well ?
Did you leave fender liner in or remove ?
I just ordered CMC plates from BAMF and want to get the front cut and be ready.

Use a razor or knife to trim the inner fender well. Should be good.

I don't remember what off set the stock wheels are but when I put my 285s on they rubbed on the UCA with turning the wheel. I had to get new rims which kind of fucked me over. Make sure to check for that before you drive off. I probably would have ruined something if I hadn't noticed the tire resting on the UCA.

I just trimmed last night and I was surprised at how little I had to trim. I had rubbing when I would get near full lock in reverse. I had to trim the plastic bit that hangs down on both sides. After that I had no issues rubbing on the street. I'll post pics when I get home from work.

I have a 3" OME lift and am running 285/70/17 (33") with a 1" BORA wheel spacer. I had to do an aggressive CMC, significant trimming of the fender edging, splash guard, and hammered the pinch weld flat. I had to do zero trimming to the fenders etc on the front side of the tire (bumper side). I now have zero rub at full stuff in the front.

Yeah, that's what I was guessing. Just wanted to confirm he's running stock with the 1" BORA.

    Thread bump..

OneWheelDrive, it appears you also clearanced the actual fender itself on the corner and not just the fender flare? I'm having issues rubbing the corner of the fender while at near full stuff.

Yeah I trimmed the black plastic fender liner, the pinch weld, the cab mount, and the paint matched fender flare. It exposed some silver painted body work, so I hit it with some matte black Krylon afterwards.

Mine is like that right and has been for a while. They only rub when the wheels are fully turned in reverse. Other than that they are fine. Still want new wheels though just hard to find a set that I like at a reasonable price.

But you didn't trim the fender at all? Just the fender flare? In the corner on your pic I can see the ends of the actual fender folded in. I'm not sure if mine is like that stock or not. I'm talking about if you were to take the fender FLARE off and expose the actual fender.. that's what my 33's are rubbing on at stuff. Haven't heard of anyone else rubbing on the actual fender with 33's

Edit: I also have an aggressive CMC and a lot of cutting of everything you mentioned. I'm not sure if I could/should mess with the actual fender of the truck though.

I can take some pretty comprehensive pics if you would like, I have no flaps, did a pretty good CMC, removed my flares, flattened the pinch weld best I could, whacked the inner fender a couple of times, not too much and trimmed some inner fender and I still rub when I flex but to do normal driving around town, all that would be kind of overkill.

Don't cut or chop until you notice it rubbing.

I had a similar lift with 285s and never trimmed or rubbed.

That is a current photo of exactly what is cut/trimmed/folded. I did not mess with anything in the red circled area you pointed out. I never trimmed anything that didn't show signs of rubbing. Basically stuff, trim, repeat until you don't hit anything :)
