crackling noise coming from the dash

    not sure how to explain. but it just started recently. every time i turn the to right theres a faint crackling/squeaking noise coming from the dash.

    i dont know where but it sounds like plastic.

    anyone have this problem?

    10" sub, OME881 on Bilstein's, 3" all-pro leaf springs with billies in the back, JBA UCA's, bed cover with custom LED lighting, k&n intake and DT headers, OEM E-locker in the rear. 32" BFG KO2 on steel D window wheels, suicide knob. rebuilt 3RZ w/ stage 1 cam and balance shaft delete . big 3 mod, all new suspension and body mount bushings. cat back magnaflow exhaust.
    i have a similar crackling noise but it seems more like it coming from the passanger floor board

    i have the same problem it sounds like its coming from the dash right in front of me. it happens whenever i hit a bump.

    mine seems to be under the car maybe the passenger wheel well

    Sure its not your airbox rattling against the fender? Go under the hood and grab your air intake hose and shake it hard... see if that kinda sounds like your noise. When the engine is under torque, it shifts a bit, and when you hit a bump, it will agitate it a bit.

    No im pretty sure it's not my airbox since I have no air box lol I have a gay & N cold air that came on the truck when I got it. I think it may be my catalytic converter possibly. That's right under the passanger floor board where the noise seems to come from

    Look at the driver side dash where the opening for the defroster is. I found a crack on my 2012 with only 34k miles.
