    If you total or damage your car to where it costs more than what you still owe on it, gap insurance will cover it.

    GAP insurance covers the difference between the actual cash value of a vehicle and the balance still owed on the financing. It comes in handy when you owe more that the vehicle is worth and it gets totaled(hence the joke and relevance to the thread).

    At the very least you need to get a new after market plate bumper. Probably needs the front too. At least that's what I would tell my wife LOL.
