Old man hit me in drive through

So it was under 3 miles an hour anyone think the rear bumper looks "off" now?

Guy was about 90 I got out and took a look didn't see anything so I got my food and left, now looking at it, it looks off a little is it just me? Any opinions?

 

Ehhh looks fine, 3mph ? I've made collisions at higher speeds with hardly any dmg.

Even if it is 'off' you can adjust the bumper a bit by loosening the bolts that hold the bumper to the frame.

 

It looks fine to me as well. I guess it's hard for us to tell unless we are there physically looking the bumper lines etc. I hope that you got the "Super Size" for the small issue you had in the drive through.

 

So the gap between the bumper and tailgate is normal?i don't recall being able to see that small hole above the plate

 

Normal. It is access to lower the spare tire.

x2 to both. I got dinged in a parking lot and my bumper shifted. Fortunately, just undid the bolts a bit (don't remove them, you don't want the bumper completely loose, just enough to move it slightly) and put it back in place. Yours looks fine though to me.

Lol it's not even 2 months old so that I guess is my concern its my first brand new car at age 31.. Needless to say she's my baby.

 

You better hope you have that gap there when you puncture a tire...only way to get the spare down is through that there rectangular openin'.

 

Believe it or not. It's the first ding, bump etc that is the hardest. After that it doesn't seem like that big of a deal. At least it's not totalled and you're buying a Dodge.

Lol my first ding was a tree branch denting the side of my roof driving in Tornado weather, and I took it like a champ...the scratches in the passenger side door handle well from my girlfriends jewelry, not so much

Moral of the story: the bullshit dings/damage/scratches hurt the most. The rest is just battlescars.

 

Even with the angle of your picture your bumper looks bent down. It's just the angle though.

Yeah that's pretty much it. You're driving a truck not a Veyron.
