I'm not too crazy about the look of my stock Dunnie tires that came with my new Taco. I have stock spring with Bilstein 5100s on the Taco now. I'm curious if this Duratrac tire would fit without a lift? I tried reading on he different posts on Duratrac but I feel like I am more confused now than before. I guess I'm in an information overload stage now :D. Any help?

You might need to remove the mud flaps but I haven't heard of anybody needing trimming for 265/70/17.

With my Texas Edition wheels I had to remove the mini front mud flaps from the front wheel wells. Other than that, no rubbing with my 265/70-17 Duratracs even when I was stock height.

I lost about 1mpg with the tires I think. It's hard to tell because the bigger tire throws off the speedo/odometer a little bit. It's worth it though....awesome tires.

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on four. How do they do on snow/icy road?

I ride the duratrac's bastard walmart cousin and love it. I have heard it is an awesome tire for "all around" use.

I back the 265/70/17. same width and o/a height as 265/75/16. tread depth does not add to o/a height. your tires will be significantly smaller than new once wore out though

Unfortunately I live in south Texas so I can't answer that question. I bought them though when I was supposed to move to Alaska due to the reviews I read about how great they are in snow/ice. I've read that they're about as good as actual snow tires so you should be fine.
