I know the weekend is over but what I did was:

put in a food plot at one of my hunt camps, reset two ladder stands and cleaned the the trailer at that camp.

Put up a tripod stand and feeder at my own property (not where I live, I own some land outside of town that's undeveloped and I use it to hunt on).

Took the wife-unit to her favorite restaurant, danced with her to the band. This all as payoff for letting me do my "man" stuff.

Washed three vehicles, waxed the wife's car. Waxing her car is more of the appeasement tax husbands have to pay! You single guys don't understand yet...

All in all a great weekend! Towed and hauled stuff with the Taco, got it dirty driving some trails at both hunting places. Trails were nice and muddy in spots due to all the rain we've had.

Had a great holiday, spent my time grilling, smoking, drinking, and having fun with family and friends.

Today I washed my truck, changed the oil and filter, changed the front differential oil, and rotated the tires. My Craftsman 2.5T floor jack failed when I was trying to change the last tire. Luckily my neighbor was around and let me borrow his jack so I could get my truck off the jack stand.

My wife couldn't understand why I was doing all this work on my last day of the holiday. I told her that there is something therapeutic to me about doing preventive maintenance on my vehicle, she just rolled her eyes.

Let's see.... Labor day projects. Finished playing The Last of Us this weekend. Washed and waxed the FR-S and got lucky and got about an hours worth of a storm so I didn't have to water the yard today.

    Good weekend!

PD Blaze Green cubby knobs. I don't think I am going to keep the dip on there for very long. I find it's hard to turn the knobs and with the amount of coats I had to put doesn't seem like it was enough. Trying to get right angles, the last few coats I think were too heavy. Got imprints of my fingers all three knobs now.

The Taco took the weekend off.

Did some long overdue projects around the house:

    1. Moved a hose bib on the outside of the house that was too low, and redid the stucco around the plumbing repair.

2.Built a table for my barbeque deck out of old posts from another project, along with some recycled wood from an old picnic table I had taken apart some time ago:
