Hey everyone, first of all I just wanted to introduce myself as I am new to this forum.

We build skid plates, which we have been producing for most of the other toyota 4x4 suvs including the FJ Cruiser and 4Runner for some time now.

We have had a lot of demand to offer these for the Tacoma, and thus, after months of prototyping, we are finally ready to start up with these!!

Anyhow, I just wanted to post up here and see what everyone thinks, and get some feedback on this before we really start moving forward.

So let me know what you think, and I will post pics of these hopefully tomorrow.

(in the mean time you can look at our website, www.rcimetalworks.com to get an idea what these will look like as they are pretty similar...)

Thanks guys! I'm installing a finished prototype set today so ill post pics of those.

Pricing will be pretty similar to our other Toyota products, aka a good bargain in comparison to the other offerings out there. Not to mention we offer both steel and aluminum options, and utilize full cnc equipment as well as water jetting so the quality is second to none.

How about a shot from the side to see how low it sits in relation to the frame rails.

Yep the weights are all on the site, just be aware that the pics on the site are of 4runner plates thus far as I have not added the new pictures there yet.

Thanks guys! The plates hug the vehicle real close so you will not lose any more ground clearance than necessary. I will post some pics from the side next chance I get.

Looks pretty nice. The frame brace for the rear of the xfer case skid - it bolts onto the frame, or does it have to be welded?

As always, all of our products are 100% bolt on, no welding or fabrication should ever be necessary for install.

Also, one of the significant benefits we offer is that our transfer case plates include the heavy duty frame cross-member so you will save a couple hundred on that plate alone vs competitors skid systems.

A set of these skid plates is a solid $250 less than ATO, $350 less than Bud Built, and about $250 less than Pelfreybilt. Dont be a douche.
