    Both look good.

I like the OEM BHLM better though

I agree with you. The Low Beams are not quite as bright as stock. They aren't bad by any means just not quite the same output. I also had to remove my HID kit for these so that is a huge difference. High Beams are good though and I have my Light Bar wired to the High Beam circuit so it makes the High Beams a moot point really. Aiming them really wasn't bad at all. Took maybe 15 mins to get them like I want.

I understand. I'm still undecided myself. I'll leave them on for a while and see if they grow on me. If not I'll sell them. I didn't think I would like the Halos but I really do like how they look. But like Matt said... I'm not fond of the 4 LED's underneath.

Light "pattern" isn't bad at all just the output. But like you said, If I decide to keep them I can always order a new HID kit.

If you do go back to HID, make sure you connect the low beam side to the high beam through a diode so when you go to high beam, all 4 lights come on.
Rapid cycling of HID burners will shorten their life, so you'll want to stick with halogen (and your driving lights) for the high beams.

Nope. Not too much. They have a slick accent when the are off and look cool with the halos on. Good choice.

Pretty quick and easy. It is a little bit different. The drivers and passenger right side of the light is angled up just slightly more then the left side of the light. I like that part as it lights up the shoulder of the road nicely but doesn't blind oncoming traffic. Like you said the output isn't quite as good but I also went from a HID kit to these so there is a huge difference there. If I keep them I'll eventually install a new HID Kit and that should take care of the output drop.

That is exactly what they are supposed to look like.
The factory reflectors did that to a degree, but not as noticeable.

    Here's my D2S HID projectors....

Yup... that's pretty much what mine look like with just a slight upward slant on the right side of each light pattern (and not nearly as bright as yours without my HID's )

I think it looks good..... I'd probably black out the chrome rings in there... but otherwise... I like them! :)

That would be kind of hard to do since that's the Halo's ;)

I had those same lights back in 08, you can disconnect a wire and shut off those 4 leds. I couldn't deal with how poorly they lit up the road compared to stock so when one of the ballasts died after a few months I put the stock ones back in. Sure you've got those 4 PIAAs but it's when your running the low beams and driving toward traffic at night that you run into problems...

This is the only pic I can find of that truck:

They might have changed them a little since then I dunno... They really aren't that bad. Now that said.. I am dropping from a HID kit to these so there is a difference there but as far as the output over stock. Not a whole lot of difference that I can tell. Slightly less bright but not bad by any means. Not trying to take up for them (I'm still on the fence) but they aren't bad headlights.

Better than I expected I'll put it that way.

I usually don't like that style of light on the Tacoma, but those I like. Not sure I would get them, but I think they are way better than others I've seen.

I like them. For me it's all about being seen and being able to see so if all equal then I'd stay with them.

What kind of mount are you using for your PIAA's? I've been looking for something just like it for my 13.
