Why your cheap egay headlights leak....

i currently have a set of OEM headlights taken apart in preparation for my HID retro. i answered a post of a guy that had egay headlights that were getting condensation (shocker, i know...). well, i took them apart tonight and took some pics between the two...and you can decide which ones are OEM and which ones are egays. you can also know at least two reasons your headlights leak. personally, i believe it has to do w/ the difference between the 6th and 7th pics versus the 10th and 11th pict...

Damn thats some sloppy work that did.

 

you do realize that the last 4 are oem right? the gray stuff is the higher quality glue that oem manufactures use. notice how in the first set, the glue just separates clean of the plastic, therefore not sealing as well. the last set, the glue really grabs hold of the plastic and seals...

 

I bought these ANZO U.S.A. headlights from AutoAnything



Went around all edges and openings with this just for extra protection



And after almost 8 months, they still look great!

 

Still have these lights...any problems?
