What is this noise???

It says, "the video is private".

 

I can't watch the video for some reason but the pic looks to be where you front coilover connects to your lower control arm. Is it a squeaking noise? And do you have after market UCA's?

 

Might just be the angle of the pic but is your sway bar rubbing the tie rod?

 

Almost definite it's not the heim. I'd check skid plates & heat shields. Have someone rev it while you walk around and climb under 'till you find it.

 

1. Are your rear shocks OEM? There's a bushing sleeve on the OEM shocks that, if not transferred over to the new shocks, can result in squeaking.

2. You have installed the sway bar relocation plates, right?

3. How much clearance do you have between the tire and the UCA?

 

In the video it looks like you're in neutral just revving so the shock is stationary and under load so I can't see it making that noise. Have you tried having someone else rev it and try to pinpoint the sound?

 

Could be a bad catalytic, tried banging the exhaust to see if it's somewhere in the system?

 

I woulda sworn that video was just a rev in neutral so I guess my speakers or ears are off this evening.....ohh, I do have a shitty ass cold or flu righ now, duh.

 

The spherical bearing looks to be positioned correctly. However, depending on the age, the bearing's teflon liner may be worn. Do you get the noise if you simply bounce the front passenger corner of the truck up and down?

Both the LCA bushing and the coilover bottom heim get exercised when you go on the curb.

I'd expect the shock mount to make noise more from bumps than acceleration, tho you should rearrange it with spacers to center the shock anyway. The frequency of the noise tells me light metal not thick suspension stuff. Exhaust sys, skid plates, and any aftermarket stuff. Possibly body panels if they're damaged. There's also the chance of a rock sitting on/in a skidplate, heatshield, ect buzzing with the right engine harmonics, been there many times.

 

Also check your motor mount brackets at the frame rails if thats not the cure.

 

In that case, I'd be retorquing the LCA bolts to make sure the noise wasn't caused by movement between the steel bushing sleeve / alignment cam / and the frame bracket. The rubber bushing itself should not need any lubricant . An easy check to possibly avoid larger problems down the road (or trail.).
