Dealer told me when it was going to be built when they gave me a copy of the build sheet. The fleet manager at the dealership should be able to track its progress by vin #.

I ordered my Tacoma in October.
2014 Access Cab in Blue Ribbion
    TRD Off Road
    Etune+Nav
    4.0L 6spd.

They made several mistakes on my order and I have yet to receive it. However I do know that my Truck was made on the 16th of December with a 6spd, So i would call this BS. I am supposed to be taking possession of it Tomorrow hopefully if all things go accordingly.

100% agree. i always locate the vehicle first and then drive to it or have a local dealer go get it.

cars.com will also show new car inventory of any make.

Thanks for the information guys. Wife decided on the following instead.

    2014
    Double cab
    Manual
    Sr5
    Entune audio
    Tow package

$28,900 includes fees and tax. She looked how small the back seat was and like the double cab more.

    One more question fellas.

I struck a price with the dealer and they sent an email with all the details which stated "taxes and fees" at the end. I told them to drop the fees because that could add a lot of BS tacked on... "taxes and license" is more like it.

The question I have is does an email serve as a legal document or should I get something faxed and signed? Just seeing how you folks finalized the deal.

    Thanks!

Real close to owning a new Taco!!

I have a question. One of my local dealers has a 2014 PreRunner Dbl Cab v6 2wd sport package and sr5 plus the tow package and they listed it with the navigation. Their list price is 30578. Is that a good price? Its everything im looking for, but I want to spend a little as possible of course. What other expenses should I expect besides the normal stuff.

    Mods? Yes, oh yes..
2014, 4x4 v6, auto, DC, OR/Tow, Etune/Navi, Sliver, AW mats, exhaust tip... 32k+TTL. Was over what I wanted to pay (fighting chance invoice - hold back was about 29), but couldn't find any dealers to get much lower than 31800 (w/o navi) and settled with navi for 200 more. I couldn't find another one to save my life besides waiting on an order and needed a truck asap.

You want to ask for a v-spec sheet, and an itemized "out the door" invoice. Do not pay for any advertising or other BS. All that should be on it is Tax, License and Destination Fee.
