I don't have a lift (at least I don't think I do), but I do seem to have driveline vibration from 45 mph and up. Could it be possible that I need to shim my carrier bearing like others with a lift do? Would it hurt to try a washer, then add another couple one at a time to see if the vibration goes away?

Sounds more like a tire balance issue the driveshaft vibes on these trucks are normally at lower speeds during acceleration.

Agreed, driveline vibrations seem to have more variation. Tire balance would be from a speed up.

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
I would be inclined to agree with Wheelspinner. You can crawl under the truck and double check that you didn't throw the balancing weight on the drive shaft for giggles. Then I would recommend you double check the weights on your wheels and psi. If the problem persists have the wheels balanced and rotated.

Yeah its definitely only at 45 mph and above. Pressure is good. I'll give balancing a go...thanks.

There is a TSB for driveline vibrations though. I had it done and it did nothing. It's a known issues on Tacomas but what you describe isn't it. Usually driveline vibes are at take off.

    Hey man,
Did you ever figure out/resolve the vibration issues? I’m getting it at 45-65mph; very annoying.
