I'm currently running Weds Adventure Hase Spec 16x8, +0, 4.5", offset rims and I plan on replacing my 265/75/16 Terra Grapplers with 255/85/16 KM2's.

I was wondering if these rims are too wide and/or have too much offset? Would I be better off using the stock OR rims for the KM2's?

    Thanks!

The rims are fine but you will need a 3" lift and expect some rubbing issues. You are going from a 31x10.4 to a 33x10ish but the km2's may measure bigger.

I am running my 255/85 KM2's on an 8" wheel and haven't have any issues. My wheels have 4.5" backspacing. I had close to a 3" lift and it still took some trimming even for on street driving. Probably still less trimming than going to a wider tire requires though.

Thanks for the input! I have a full OME lift with 885 in front and Dakar's in the rear.

I was hoping to have to trim less than going with a wider tire, but thanks for the link. I'll check it out.

I just found out my wheels are 4.5" backspacing. My biggest worry with the 8" was having the bead fall off when the tire is aired down. It looks like I might be ok down to about 15lbs.

I've ran mine as low as 8 psi without problem. Just don't be careless when that low. Anymore I don't usually go below 20 psi because skinny tire flex a lot more at higher psi than wide tires. I just don't see a point in dropping below 20 because you lose more ground clearance the lower you go.
