Just picked up my 2014 DCSB PreRunner TRD Sport today, and it needs some help. Already have the Bilstein 5100's on the way, and I'm just trying to figure out how to lift the rear 1.5" to clear the set of 265/70/17's. I am seriously "ballin' on a budget" so I need to do it VERY cost effectively. I have read AAL's are a good option, but I did AAL's on a Jeep of mine and it made the ride so stiff it was miserable. Is there any reason I shouldn't just buy a set of 1.5" blocks and call it a day? Off road use will be minimal. That said, any recommendations on where to buy a set (ebay sketches me out)? I drive 20K miles a year for work, so jumping to 3" and 285's just isn't an option.

Yes I used the search, no it didn't come up with anything.

My wife took one look at the stock truck and said "well that looks kinda wussy." I traded in a leveled FX4 F150, so it is a lot smaller. Need to toughen it up and fast.

Set the 5100's to 0.85" in the front and leave the back alone. You don't need any lift to run 265/70 R17's. You will probably need to lose the little front mud flaps, whatever they are (the things that look like mudflaps in front of the front wheels). That will fill your wheels wells nicely and still drive comfortably.

Actually a pretty good answer, so thank you for that. I will give that a shot, and if I don't like it I can always go higher later. Duratracs are ordered and on their way. $210 each shipped from Discounttiredirect.

Mudflaps were gone 5 minutes after I got home with the truck, definitely helped with the appearance. I saw in another post that they were perfectly level with the front shocks set at 1.75", so I'm assuming 0.85 would leave some rake?

Yes, 0.85" will leave a slight amount of rake.

I got some "soft ride" leafs from Skyjacker that gave me 1.5" of lift for my 2008 DCLB.
