I traded my 2005 TRD Sport AC in for a 2012 AC last October and have absolutely loved my new truck ever since with one exception... The rear seats in the 05 folded forward so you had a large "shelf" in the back as a storage area, since I rarely have anyone ride in the back this was awesome. The '12 the seats fold UP and there is almost no storage area in the back, is there any way I can swap an interior from an earlier model in my '12, or has anyone else come up with another solution?

    Thanks.

Some Access cab owners take the seats out.

Doesn't really solve the issue, you've still got a big "step" from the floor to the seat, versus the flat shelf that the old style seats made when folded forward. Plus I want the option of having people in the back if need be... kinda why I got the AC.

What about if you put the seats down and then something across them to create a shelf? I find the AC has a lot of room for stuff in the back. I usually just start putting stuff on the floor and build up. :p

Most people don't get an Access Cab to carry people(at least not more than 2 comfortably). The back seats are really not that comfortable, especially for long periods of time.

I'm actually back home now, and in Virginia none the less. I'm in Charlottesville, so a few miles up the road from Newport but not terribly far. I wouldn't think it'd be more than a half days work would it? PM me and see if we can work something out!
