I'm thinking of going with the Bilstein 5100s. Do I get the Lifted light truck series or the ride height adjustable ones?

Will they have any affect on front end clearance?

    For the front or rear?
The ride height adjustables are for the front.

    Yes
You can set them at stock height, .85'' over stock, 1.75'' over stock, or 2.5'' over stock.

I just purchased my truck and I am upgrading it slowly similar to this thought process. #1. Protection inside and out. Floors, seats and windows inside. My truck came with window tint, so I purchased weathertec floor mats and plan on getting some nice seat covers in the near future.

#2 outside protection, skid plates are my first concern since he truck really didn't come with any on the parts that matter, I just purchased an engine plate and plan on getting the tyranny and xfer case plates next. Then sliders and eventually bumpers. I also want something in the bed either a mat or spray type liner.

Then I want suspension and tires and traction devices.

You just have to determine what is important to you and what the truck use is for and plan as funds become available.
