I went on a 1500 mile road trip & made it to the 100K mark this past weekend, truck runs like a champ & had zero issues. I know she has ALOT of life left in her!

Ha, I was in Korea for a year so it didn't get many miles in 2011. It was a great trip, drove from Delaware to KY & back & did some camping while there.

Remember to change your rear diff fluid, coolant, and watch out for your ignition coils. If your ignition coils ever go out immediately replace them or you'll get a blown head gasket.

Thanks for the tip! I have changed my rear diff fluid twice with the last being at about 97K with Amsoil synthetic. I do need to change the coolant probably but I have checked it several times & recently it was still good. I bought the truck at 62K & have done nothing but regular maintenance.

Good tip but won't it have to be immediate since the truck won't run?

I just sold my 2002 Taco, about 3 months ago and it was still (just barely) under 100k. Guess I need more road trips! I always miss these shots though, when it turns over at a milestone like that. I'm trying to see how far I can make it with my new Taco, without missing a 1000 mile turnover. So far I've made the first three! I'll be lucky to make it to 10k without missing one, but it would be pretty cool to have 100 of these someday.

Congrats! I made sure that I got the pic when it turned over to 100K, was on the road & paid special attn to the odometer, lol. I love this truck & it has been super dependable from day 1 so I think I just might keep her & see how far she will take me!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think water pump and thermostat is at 150K.
