What time of year does Toyota offer deals on Tacomas? Right now is some October deals but not on any Tacomas.

Tacoma rebates come up every now and then, but I haven't seen/noticed a schedule. I got a $500 rebate when I purchased my truck in 10/2011. These rebates can also be limited to region, so if tacomas sell like hot cakes in your area you may be limited on deals.

Toyota does have a twitter account where their marketing folks announce specials and rebates... @ToyotaDeals

Not specific to the Tacoma, but there is the $750 College Grad Rebate and the $750 US Military Rebate. Details and requirements can be found at http://www.toyota.com/local-specials/. The Tundra cashback offers are pretty sweet.

When it comes to Tacoma you are out of luck on rebates. There maybe some locally, but in general there is never one.

When buying my tacoma, I asked about rebates and stuff. Basically they can't keep them in the lot for more than a couple days. So that may be a reason why they wont have rebates.

you must be looking at the 2.7 if you're talking 5 speed manual... IMO get the 5 speed. the 2.7 will be too slow with the auto trans....

Yea I never understood it either. Here let's add some more debt to there already huge amounts of debt. Lol granted they may have a job lined up, but not likely, and usually not in the field they study.

What bothers me is the fact that this culture makes it out that if you don't get a college degree you are not/will not be successful. What happened to the good paying trades, plumbers, electricians, hvac guys? Heck I even respected the milkman and breadman when I was a kid. I heard Mike Rowe is doing a new show where he is giving scholarships to those who want to commit to work hard. I have seen the college grads come in the place where I work and don't know a ball valve from a flange.

I agree my father has no degree at all in construction but when the company was laying people off people with degrees were going first. I say experience over a degree

John Ratzenberger is another who laments the lack of young men/women entering the trades.

Cliché: Everyone can not be the astronaut...someone has to build the rocket ship.

However, the bigger picture is a social-political-economic one and I'll leave that alone.

    back to the OP...

Toyota currently offers low to zero financing rates...and a good negotiator can see between 2-4K in discount on a new Tacoma.

They offered my 5000 for my 06 corolla 180,000 miles on it , if I can get low to 0% financing that would be awesome. Now im down to either getting the 2.7 5speed for 27,000 or the 4.0 auto v6 TRD. Im afraid if I get the V6 it will break me up in gas that and the higher payment. Also I know the 2.7 5 speed will run forever. Im leaning to the 2.7, I don't care that much about the TRD. I mean yea I would love it but I not sure if all im buying is a sticker. I got into that a few years ago with the Chevy S10 ZR2.
