You have the correct wires from the CCFL inverter connected to the power and ground? I think the only work one way and if you have them switched it won't power up.

I followed the instructions they gave, although it was for a single halo and not a double like mine I did just like they said.

How to do this? Just create a pigtail off each one and use a quick connector? I suck at automotive wiring.

Pretty sure they are already tied in. What happened is there's 2 black and 2 red wires on each light. They get connected together with a pigtail coming off them and going to a quick connector to the factory harness. Unless I am meant to tap into the red+black coming from that wiring which is behind the halos. I just assumed they were tied in automatically with the other connections. I'll check it out tomorrow, I'll take pics in the daylight and post back here. No way do I wanna remove the whole housing again

OP, are you going for looks or functionality?

Why not just go for a retrofit. Just wondering, not trying to crash on your thread.

He just needs help with the halos and may be perfectly happy with his current light output.

Usually buyers have to tie into a power source in order to get the halos to work.... Unless its a new design.

Keep in mind, once the headlights are on, the brightness of the bulbs may drown out the halos. That's why I suggested tying into the parking lights.

Your post above this one is completely true. I've seen other headlights similar to these and the halos are on with the DTRL'S and when the headlight comes on as well. Maybe mine aren't meant to do that but they should be working with 1 of the settings regardless. I'll check in the morning. Sucks cause its a holiday tomorrow meaning no auto parts for me

I have the same headlights on my Tacoma and love them! One of my halo's cuts out from time to time and I'm still trying to figure it out... If I find anything out I'll let you know!

May not be the case, but worth a try.

If ur tied I to the corner/parking lights, I know my bulbs in the corner lights used to flicker. I figured it must be a bad connection. I took the corner lights out and seen the contact "legs" in the bulb holder were a little wide. I used a small flat blade screw driver and closed the contact points. All it took was gentle pressure.
Put the bulbs back in, and then thumped the light housing and fender some. No more flickering. That was almost a year ago.

Like I said, may not be ur issue, but its free to try.

I have no access to a computer right now and my phone won't copy and paste the full picture links. They can be viewed in my gallery though. I don't know what to look for but the red and black wire coming out of the ballast both tied in with the main wiring. If that's where the power to the halos even comes from. They were tied into the spots the instructions said to with quick connectors. If anyone can see something visibly wrong that would cause them not to work, please help me out
