I bought a used 07 AC off road 4x4 a few months ago.

Whenever I got over enough of a speed bump/off a curb/ whatever it may be a hear a clanking sound from the rear passenger side. Also under heavy acceleration I hear somewhat of a rattleing sound and when I go in reverse and stop rather quick I hear a clank type sound as well.

I havn't put it on a lift yet to take a look at it but from what I can see so far there is nothing noticiable and the shop that put tires on not too long ago didn't see anything obvious either.

The rear springs do not have the TSB but does have helper springs that the previous owner had put on. Maybe they need to be tighened?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Probably rear driveshaft u-joint (at diff) and/or center bearing.

I have a clunk/thud in my 2009 coming from both sides of the truck i've been trying to figure it out for a month now.It does it over light bumps and sometimes going slow around corners.I think mine is coming from the front leaf spring mounts. I can see the front part of the leaf moves left to right if I have someone shake the truck hard left to right.( I forgot to mention that i have aftermarket leaf packs.) I think the leaf pack is a little narrower than the stock ones. I've tightened the bolts as tight as i can but it still does it i might try to put a washer in between the spring and the bracket to take up the gap.
