Nice I couldn't afford rigid lights ended up with cheap 4in round led "ears"

If they are pointed perfectly straight and level they will hit because of the curve of the windshield. I have them pointed slightly outward and just a hair down. The pass. side hits the wiper alittle when I open the hood but nothing bad. Oh and my lights are floodlights so the slight outward angle doesn't really seem to matter, spotlights might be different. These are the lights I got for the price they work good. http://www.ebay.com/itm/281104950163?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

You should be happy with them they work good. I forgot to mention that i put a 1/2 inch thick nut(you could use washers) between the light bracket and the mount to rise the light to clear the hood better I may add a washer too and see if that lets me straighten them more. You can just see them in my pictures.
