    Thanks,
Updated the matrix that the Off-Road version gets the bump in stereo from [ED] to [EE]. What I was referencing above was the Sport which just has the [ED]. I have yet to see a Sport with [EE] included. If you see one please post a picture of window sticker and I will update the chart.

Thanks for clarifying this. The guy at the dealership said the Plus (ED) had Nav. But it does not.
The truck I'm looking at only has ED. Not EE.

It definitely helps. And I should point out my anaylsis is more of an issue with people actually ordering the package rather than buying from the dealer lot. For those people who ordered their Tacoma and the brochure saying it includes this, this, and this, I can understand the frustration, but for people who bought a Tacoma on the lot, all Toyota is going to say is go pound sand.

Sucks either way but it is what it is.

On a side note I sort of want one of those newer Entune HU lol.

Scratch that, just went to a dealership in Epping, NH and the Off-Road all had the [ED] radio. So I guess the lesson here is check the sticker as it can have either. Also the towing package is renamed TW (For Offroad) but doesn't appear any different.

We ordered the truck and beforehand assumed it came with the Homelink and mirror set up just like our other 4x4 TRD fully optioned Tacomas.

Given our remote and back country location, we buy a new Tacoma 4x4 and RAM 3500 4x4 every other year.

I'll know to check with Toyota next time before ordering.

Confirmed that the Entune Premium w/ GPS [EE] is an option for:

    SR5
TRD Sport (1 was found in all of the North East)
    TRD Off-Road (No DCLB though)

Limited is probably a slightly different package as it's got the JBL speakers [EN]

Checked our window sticker. Our Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 has the EE Entune Premium Audio w/Nav. OC TRD Off Road, CF and TW Tow packs.

Thanks to everyone on this informative site for the heads up.

    Good thread!

I just bought a 2014 TRD Sport, it has Nav and a tow package. It does not have the auto-dim/fancy-dancy mirror (which I actually came to enjoy in my Z71). Maybe I'll poke around and see if I can find one at a salvage yard or something. Most Japanese automakers have all the wiring for all models (or at least the base harness will remain the same for all models, allowing a quick plug-in for an option harness). Hopefully this truck follows that ideology.

I don't have a Tacoma, but lots of mirrors!
With your truck being a 2014, as long as it has the factory overhead console, it'll have a 14 pin / 3 wire harness tucked away above the overhead console...this is used for the optional autodim mirror with compass & Homelink. So if you would want to add a mirror with temperature display, you will have to install a temperature sensor & run the sensor wiring up to the mirror...you cannot, and I need to emphasize this, absolutely CANNOT tap into the factory temperature sensor when adding one of these mirrors. I've been getting a lot of people emailing me lately thinking they can do this, but the truth of it is, if you do, you'll soon find out that even something as small as 5 volts will be enough to do major damage to your truck's computer and also to the mirror (past customer of mine learned this the hard way early on & shared the info with me, so I'm passing it on). Anyhow if you have any questions on mirror options, feel free to PM me!

That's some great info! Thank you very much for posting that up.

So does the fancy mirror equipped Tacoma have a secondary sensor? Seems I'd need to get one.

It does not...the optional mirror in the Tacoma does not have temperature display, so no need for a sensor. If you add a either an autodim compass temp mirror or an autodim compass temp Homelink mirror, you will need to add your own temperature sensor & the wiring for the same.
