What is this power clip for?

I undid my lower panel to do some wiring and saw this not plugged into anything, it's run with the power mirror switch clip

 

Pre wiring for either locker, fog lights, inverter, dac, rsca, or some other option your truck is not equipped with

 

Trailer brakes, he already has all three of the others.

i am guessing its one of these.

 

I believe it goes to the DAC if its equipped with it. The link i posted a few post up confirms, otherwise somebody just unplugged it to disable it if its on the switch.

 

Prewired for other stuff

Not DAC because pre09 didnt have that
But some pre09 had the RSCA

 

If they were all wired the same, it would be for "clutch start cancel"

I have an 06 though, the only switches on my truck are the inverter/power mirrors and fog lights

 

Your most accurate guess is to check the colors of the wires and look at the wiring diagrams in the FSM. No it's not available for legal/free download anymore.
