Has anyone run or seen a Tacoma with glass bedsides and a camper shell?

I was looking into larger tires etc, and glass fenders, but didn't know from a practicality stand point if it could be done.

It seems like the Glassworks fenders may lend themselves to working since they are flat along the top, but they bow out a bit on the sides so if the shell has a lip it may not work.

Anyway, has anyone seen or done this?

I'm going to run them with my Bestop, should work fine. Most shells use our bedrail system, so as long as your bedrail is good, I don't see why you can't run a camper.

Also, FixedTRD has ran his Bestop with Glassworks flares. I think it looks great.

That's what I was wondering too. I took a look at those soft tops and it does look like mount to the rails.

My biggest question is will the glass bear the weight of a hard shell?

That is what my concern is also. Over time would the glass start to fracture because of the weight

Did you ever end up doing it? I think it would look awesome, just not sure if it would work.

I haven't. I've been debating on buying a Habitat and I don't know how glass plays into that.

Hey bud, so last night I was on Toyota120 and found someone currently doing a build for a customer. They have plans on getting the topper with bedsides done. We might finally have someone to look at. The customer name was Abu and I believe it was DSM doing the work.
