why are the idiots from Pro Comp wheels saying they don't make any wheels for tacomas

    I find it pretty confusing and mind boggling, at the same time hilarious.


    Im thinking of going 17x9 pro comp 7089 or the 5001.

    now ive seen tons of Pro Comp wheels on 1st and 2nd gen tacos and ive even messaged a bunch of our members and they all say they fit with out any problems


    so why is the rep from pro comp saying that "we don't make any wheels that will fit your 2013 Tacoma"

    No big deal to me, since Discount Tire wont charge me if they don't fit.

    Im just a little confused why pro comp says that. what do you all think

    They may be sticking to the no wider than 8" rule on a Tacoma. Keeping the backspace and offset correct puts the extra 1" of width from a 9" wheel on the shiny side. Depending on your tire size, this can cause rub issues.

    I asked him about the 17x8 also and got the same reply. hate to tell him to google "tacomaworld pro comp wheels" and see all these tacomas with pro comps :evil:
