2005-2010 grille vs 2011 grille

Long story short, I'm looking for a spare grille shell to use to build a Satoshi style grille.

I'm fairly new to these trucks as I've only had mine for a few months.

I've come across '05-'10 grilles and '11 grilles. The difference '11 grilles have the mesh style inserts and 05-10 grilles just have bars, correct?

Other than that I can use the earlier grille on my 2011, right?

 

They should be the same.

if you think my old one from my 2005 will help if you cover shipping costs, etc you can have it. i have a piece of wood screwed into it where i had my infrared cam, but its screwed into the insert, so for mod shouldnt matter. its in as removed condition so it has some bugs and some scratches on it, lol! i was not very careful with it when i started my mod from 2005 to 2012 front, so 2 tabs got broken off

anyways, you are more than welcome to it if you can use it and cover ship costs, be aware i most likely will not be able to ship it until next weekend, making it to usps during work hours is hard.

if you want it let me know, i can pack it in a box and weigh it and all to get realistic ship price for you if you want, but just educated guess probably be around $25. i am in louisiana in the u.s. not sure where you are. just let me know.

2011 has the mesh with the bar in the middle.

Can't (or harder to do) the mod on the 2011 grill. 2010 and back you can do it.
