2013 strange popping sound

    I'm a new owner of a 2013 v6 4x4.I have noticed that a few seconds after putting the truck into drive it makes a popping sound,but it only does it after the truck has been turned off.It doesn't make it when going from park to drive while the the engine is running.thanks, I'm also a new member!

    Welcome bud, 90% sure it's the brake dust shield getting hit with the brake caliper when coming out of park, mine does the same thing. Good luck.

    Mine makes a minor popping sound, coming from reveres to drive. I just thought it was drive line slack.
