Will the 2006 Solara Intermittent wiper switch work on a 2012 Tacoma? Has anyone tried it? Thanks!

They are only about $20 on ebay vs. $120 for the actual tacoma switch. I'm seeing a few 2006 solara switches that are the same price as well. I saw somewhere else someone mentioned they worked on the tacoma too.

I wouldn't want to do it but if it is 100 bucks cheaper and functions the same why not? haha

I just saw it on ebay and from some googling I think it may be 84652-0C021.

But the best test might be taking the part out of your dad's solara and putting it in your to see if it actually works. They are only $30 on ebay so might be worth it for you to buy one from there if it actually functions. Thanks!

yea i think the 01 camry is out the picture now but maybe a later model camry, solara or even prius. I thought someone mentioned the prius switch worked even though it has the rear window feature, so im think even if the part numbers dont match it might still function.
