Drop down your glove box and pull out the filter for the heat/ac fan. Bet there is a nest there. There is a thread about this somewhere and about putting screen where the intake for the heat/ac is.

This hamster would piss in one spot and usually dump in its nest and set it outside the the nest. It had a smell. It wasn't horrible, but you could smell it. Smelled similar to what it ate.

Check your cabin air filter. Common problem in Tacomas.

Found a couple more pictures. The filter material helps keep the cabin filter (behind glove box) clean... still on the original.

Download pic, go to your TW profile page look at the little camera under username, click open your gallery, then go to pic and click, copy link under picture. Go to thread , reply to topic, look at little yellow box, put cursor over it, it says insert image, paste in the little window after opening. then reply. Probably not the best directions but Hope it helps.

Reminds me of when my pet hamster "Alf" got loose in the AC duct work in the house when I was little, the little turd was in there for days until he got hungry and we got him out with seeds. Ole Alf, little bastard.

Too funny. I had a hamster named Alf as well. Not sure how I remember that...
