I have a 2009 prerunner and I was installing an onboard aircompressor . when I went to install the switch, I pulled a blank from the left side of steering wheel and it was connected to a harness, anyone know what that button may have been used for?

It would be used for a rear differential switch if you had one equiped

Awesome, thank you. I will choose another blank to install my compressor switch in order to have that one if I ever want to install that. Thanks again.:D

    FYI....

Just because the wiring is there, doesn't mean your ECM (or other parts) are equipped to 'bolt in' whatever the harnass is for.

Yeah, I just hope it has power and ground going to it to make my job easier. Hopefully it works with the ignition switch too. Will have to wait to test it until tomorrow.
    Thanks!
