Non Yet I just Got IT!!!!! but looking....!!!
I want to pull the trigger today. I have been researching best way to level my truck and have decided to go with the bilstein 5100s all the way around. . Here is my problem/situation. I am looking to add an AAL to the back as what I have now sucks when I haul wood... Lots of sag.... I am looking to buy bilsteins from downsouth. They suggest 5125s if the aals will add 2-2.5 inches of lift. They said I should buy aals first then install then measure then either order the 5100s or the 5125s for the rear. I am in the grey!!!
All I want is to level my truck... Set the front to 2.45 setting in the front... Add a leaf... Not sure which one.... Then put the appropriate size shocks in the back. I do off road n go after wood, I do not rock crawl or anything that crazy only on occasion. We do have a pop up that we haul wherever we go and we are on the road a lot.
I will be getting some all terrains, 265s next week moving up from 245s... So I wanted to have lift before new tires.
Any advice I would appreciate... First major purchase. Budget 400...
    Thank you all

This may not apply to your situation but my truck has the toy tech 3'' leveling kit. 3'' pacer up front and all in the rear. Even with the aal in the rear sags like crazy. last night i had 12 2x6x12's and a 4x4x12 in my bed and when I hit a bump i bottomed out

if your just looking to level it, which im not sure, your post kind of contradicts itself, the RHA 5100's upfront are designed to level the truck out without fooling around with the rear, but if your looking to lift your gonna need ext travel shocks

So if I add the 1.5 lift AAL... The 5100s all the way around should do the trick?

no because the back end will be high. 5100's all around OME 884 or 885's up front (i have 884's) and AAL's in the back and you'll be lifted and leveled

Yep, you should have some flex, but not worry with bottoming the shocks or needing new brake lines or changing bump stops, you need to add coils up front you'll be set

Wheelers 3-leaf pregressive AAL - HD version for hauling and 5100's all around. It's a 1.5" AAL but, if you leave the overload leaf in place, will give you 2" of lift. 5125s and extended length 5100's could end up requiring you to modify your bump stops so you don't collapse the shock and blow it out. Regardless, I wouldn't go with 5125s, they require an eye to stem adapter that just forces you to lose travel. I'd go extended 5100's with extended bumps before I went with 5125s.

Front 5100's are adjustable... you can lift the front with them without getting new coils.

I didn't want to mess w the truck too much but when I see how bad it is when I load up the back or tow something... I'd figure I add an AAL

I agree, and did change my coils for that reason, but OP said his budget was $400 and new coils aren't required to lift the front when using 5100's.

Why not just lift 3" all around? I don't get this leveling craze. Yeah it looks good but as soon as you put something in the back it looks like crap.

Not sure what's with the 'emergency' in the title but, I've wheeled a 2" AAL (non TSB) with 5100s on the rear without issue for what it's worth.
