Thinking of purchasing this exhaust. i can get the whole cat-back for 400$ plus shipping. Supposedly work well with v6 tacomas. Does anyone run this or maybe just the Aero muffler? If so, what is your feedback on it? is it worth getting the catback or just get the muffler for 110$

There site shows it as on sale right now for $309 with free shipping. That's not bad. I have there AT2525 on my Tacoma and it just a little to loud for me. Wish I would have gone with the 2525XL.

u have a 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust right now if Im not mistaken.

Id get the muffler and save the rest of the money... I see zero benefit to a full exhaust thats exactly the same size as stock.

I also wouldnt go above this size unless your boosted.... Save the dough my friend.

I just bought the muffler AERO 2525XL from Moesperformance.com ($99) and welded it in place of the stock muffler. i like it alot, its got a really nice tone to it, and its not overly loud....until you smash on the pedal, but it sounds good. I can barely here the exhaust when I'm just cruising in overdrive.

Stock exhaust on my truck was like 2.25" and flared up to 2.5" at the end of the tailpipe.

Hey Anthonytacoma, got a video or sound clip of that? I have listened to a bunch on youtube and they all sound more like ricey hondas than powerful trucks :(

    (no offense to hondas)

I got the tip and 2525xl muffler from atom exhaust on ebay for I believe I paid 115

IMO the aero turbine has the best sound. Deep and throaty. Not as "ricey" as other mufflers, and its all stainless

I say, get the muffler. Have the shop swedge the existing pipe up to the ID of the muffler, placing the muffler as far back as the cut out stocker will allow. This way, if there is any drone it is at least under the bed and not the cab.

Built for maximum low end torque, tooter II.VII intake manifold spacer, LCE long tube header, Injen long tube intake, 2,900 rpm torque peak.
Mine is also 2.25", and it's the 2.7. Looks like Toyota uses exactly the same size exhaust tubing for both the 4.0 and 2.7.
