Just started doing this today, finished one side of the truck. Did you just get rid of all the plastic inside the wheel wells? I still got the plastic on my truck and makes it look kind of ugly, any problems if you did take it off?

I removed the inner fender liners. The only issue is your intake will be exposed inside the passenger fender well.

Is it bad to have the intake exposed with rain or puddles or the rear liners out?
Also, any other way to fill the holes? I've got bolts I've used, but was curious if there's any way to just fill the holes.

    Just a few
I had to change my air filter out twice in a 3 month period since I pulled my fender liners out due to the amount of dirt that gets into it from wheeling and every day use.

mines not out, but it is a little exposed... Hoping to get a Snorkel in the near future soon....
Think I'm gonna take off my fender flares again though... looks so much better without them
Just eats my paint up... need to bedline as well I guess

Id check it after any water crossings or pull over during a longer drive in heavy rain just to be certain. I used to get so much dust that my truck would basically shut down while driving (loss power) and couldn't start the truck again until I cleaned out the filter. That's from one or two weekend trips.

    I replaced mine with UHMW

Do you do anything to smooth the edge where you cut?

Nope, I had some edge trim on there but it only lasted a week.

It's in stock, just let me know.

I'm also working on mass producing the fender plugs in a ready to paint plug. No modifying necessary, just paint and put em in.

I taped mine, traced the line, and used a grinder with a cutoff wheel. That worked pretty well. Just have to be careful going around the corners.

Tyler at pelfreybilt showed me some clippers you can order off McMaster. I used the grider first but had minor chips and a little paint burn. The clippers are just like using scissors. Near impossible to screw it up as long as you have a good line traced out.

Posted this elsewhere but thought I'd throw it in here too.
Removed my fender flares again cause I like the look better... Someday I'll get the rocker panels and fenders bed lined and stop all my paint chipping. Until then, let the chipping continue!
Also used a hammer on my truck for the first time to beat some metal.
