I've been beating the living shit out of a set of 245/75/16 Mastercraft Courser STR for the last 1.5 years. Remarkable for $90.50 ea.

    back to bone stock.
    X3 (i think)

great tires. i run Michelin 4-seasons. what a tire!! super quiet, super smooth, great MPG.

i got mine from Costco. i think they are labeled differently..but i cant be sure, havent cared enough to check.
i am at 40,000 miles and they still look great.

and guess what? i have been in some nasty offroad stuff during hunting trips. awesome!! i drive 22 hours to some hunting spot. put it in 4hi,and offroad to meet the group. having the smallest most nimble truck, means i do most of the camp driving. dropping off guys, climbing big hills to find cell phone service, etc. i love my tires. they dont look aggressive, but they rock the real world.

I have a set of hankook dynapro ATM tires I just put on, they look agressive, though they are pretty quiet on the road, Good in the snow.
And they to have really good tread wear, I had a set on my previous 4runner for 10k and they still looked new !

If you want aggressive tread look at Toyo open country M/T quiet on highway looks good and all round great tire wear excellent.
