I believe there is a thread over on expo portal with a built tacoma running twin baja racks. There is also a thread on here with a truck running twin frontrunners. Both look awesome! I don't think the frontrunners seemed to sit perfectly level. could be easily resolved though.

I run a roof basket and a RTT on my 1st gen Tacoma. You would not want a solid mount between the two racks due to the flex of the bed vs the cab.

I have a double cab with factory rack, and a shell and I installed a ford
explorer rack in top. The goal was to keep the high the same so I can carry my canoe. To bad I am not good with pictures.

Thank you all. This is something I will be looking into doing sometime next year. I'll update everyone if and when I'm able to afford it.

My issue with them not being level is resolved! Well, will be. I needed 60mm feet. Ended up with the 40mm's initially. Got mine in the mail, just need to swap them out now. Between cooking and family time. might put it off til friday or this weekend.

Do as I started doing for all the mods I wanted. Stop eating out for lunch and dinner so often. Take that $20 in daily junk food and set it aside. 5 days of $20 is $100. In 2 months, that's a rack. By spring time you could have saved enough for 2 racks.

All I'm saying is, "where there's a will, there's a way". Don't settle. Aim for what you want and work towards it.

Just did the double rack set up with bajaracks utility rack. Really impressed with the quality of the product. Racks don't sit flush but I will fix that in the next few weeks hopefully. Lots of cargo room now!
